WINNER OF MOST OUTSTANDING EVENT 2008/2009

Assalamualaikum and hello everyone,

Some of you might have heard about it. For those who havent, LSU Brunei Society (aka LufBru) has been awarded the "Most Outstanding Event" for our LufBru Summer Games 2008 during the LSU Society Awards last Thursday (May 29th).

It is such a great honour to win it against a handful of contenders which includes Fever, Hindu Society, CompSoc etc. This is the second time in a row that LufBru has won the award and we can all be proud knowing that LufBru has placed itself within the union as an active contender.

This achievement will not have been possible if it wasnt for the fantastic efforts the previous committee has put in in organising the LufBru Summer Games 2008 and I would like to thank and congratulate each and everyone one of you who has made it a success.

Forward we march, i say. Let us all improve on this and emulate this achievement for the upcoming summer games, InsyaAllah =).

P.s. the trophy is up for display on Nadiah's room window. You'll be able to have a glimpse of it from outside telford hall, block 6 hehe.

Wassalam,
